Here is Savvy Queen and hubby, with Fergie and Taboo at the Black Eyed Peas performance at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in Houston. BEP's brought a record crowd of over 75,000 fans to Reliant Stadium!! YEE-HAW Savvy Queen!!

What a Celebration!

I flew down to Houston for Layla Grace's Celebration of Life service and I'm so glad I did...for so many reasons. Everything about the service was beautiful...so many tears shed and many reasons to smile. I am forever grateful to my Queen friends for joining me. Our shared tears for Layla Grace has brought us even closer. The songs were phenomenal, especially the one sang by Matthew West, who flew in from Tennessee at the family's request to sing his inspiring song..."Save A Place For Me". Watch, listen and be moved...

The service ended with an extraordinary balloon release while "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" played in the background. As I looked up to Heaven watching the pink and purple balloons float away, I was thinking of Layla Grace being all perfect again! I am and will continue to be in awe of Shanna and Ryan Marsh. I had to hug them both knowing that they are the incredible parents of the little girl we have come to know, love and honor. Ryan Marsh spoke of his baby girl at the service, and I want to pass along to you his message..."What tools will you use in this life to touch or impact other's lives?" Definitely a compelling question knowing that his Layla Grace has changed the world for the better! Don't you know that Layla Grace was smiling down from Heaven...and, she is "saving a place" for us!

Princess Layla Grace ~ Rest in Peace

Calling all Queens for a new cause to fight for! You'll never forget this face --- the precious face of Layla Grace with the big blue eyes and the flowered beanies!! The darling 2 year old daughter of one of our fellow Queens ~ Prada Queen, has lost her battle with Neuroblastoma today. In the process of writing this blog and finalizing the details to make the announcement of our fundraiser for Layla...I got the Twitter that "Layla went to play with the angels early this morning. Rest in peace precious Layla. 11/26/2007 - 3/9/2010." Through tears, I know that she is now at peace and dancing in Heaven.

"Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer,...be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a CROWN for life." ~ Revelation 2:10

Layla Grace has been a blessing in my life and to many Queens and friends too. She touched thousands of people all over the world...and, that is the work of God through this angel. Many Queens kept asking me how, we as a group, could help?? It's all about Loyal Royal Love from the Queens...so, this is what we are STILL going to do. We are going to rally around this family and put our amazing group of women together ~ The Queen Nation ~ and help to make a difference and carry on the legacy of Layla Grace.

I'll share the idea...The Queen Nation is "lacing up their cleats" to continue to raise money for the medical expenses of the Marsh family, as well as raise more awareness on how we can TACKLE Neuroblastoma! We have to for Layla!! Prada Queen LOVES the idea and we are still going to make this happen!

The Marsh family needs our love and support MORE THAN EVER! So many Queens love them and are grieving with them over the loss of our little sweet princess, Layla Grace. I just want to kiss those sweet lips............your sweet legacy will live on!!
